I am feeling a lot happier now that I have my main structure plants reserved. I visited a nursery in Cheshire this morning and selected a really lovely mixture of Buxus balls, naturally mounded Hebes and two large Pittosporum shrubs. They will make lovely rounded forms in amongst the grasses and perennials with the taller structure provided by the Nandina domestica and the large Crataegus prunifolia tree. I took my yougest son with me who had a whale of a time squeezing inbetween the large trees and bamboos dotted around the nursery - a true example of multi-tasking, although probably not one I would reccomended!
