The water rill took shape today. It is a strong feature within the garden and the wooden mock-up (which will be sealed and covered with stone) illustrates how well this will work in a small garden.
It is fair to be said that we did a lot of hanging around waiting for deliveries again today, which never appeared - come on guys - you know who you are!!!
I also had a phone call from the plant nursery I am using today to say that some of the plants they have reserved for me have gone over in the hot weather - again!!! So I'll be off to the nursery in the morning to re-select. This will be the third time I've had to do some major swapping - I wonder if any of my original list will make it into my garden!!!
The veggies are holding on, all apart from the lovely radish which has gone to flower and the giant red mustard which keeps trying to bolt. Some of the earlier lettuce are looking like they won't make it, but I have plenty coming on behind so that isn't so concerning.
